i am so fucking ridiculously tired i cant believe i am even awake much less typing. prepare yourself for lots of typos everyone because my fingers are feeling loose.

things at the job have taken a 180 for the better. i figured out that the gossip i noticed was limited to one person, the one who i am replacing, and since her departure i havent heard a negative word since. that is a huge relief becauase that problem could have given me an ulcer. i took my food issue in hand by bringing in yummy healthy snacks for everyone and they nasty ones havent been bothered to be replaced yet. there *was* another birthday today, and therefore another cake, but i made sure i got the hell out of there before they cut into it. we havent had any euthanizations since that last one, and while i know there will be more down the road i realized there will also be plently of exciting things too. already i am taking blood, giving injections, taking x rays, and even had the opportunity to assist on an autopsy of a beagle. i thought i might be disgusted by it, but it turned out to be fascinating. did you know that a gall bladder is electric green and iridecent? i didnt, but i do now.

the only problem remaining is the one of time. i still havent figured out how to fit everything into a single day, and i still dont get enough sleep. but i know there are other people out there who do a ton more than i do, and they can fit it all in, so there must be a way, right? my therapist tells me i need to give myself permission to sleep, but she also says i need to give myself permission to eat ice cream before bed, so who knows. shes been right about most things before, so i am going to go have bowl of heath bar crunch and try to get some rest.
